154 new COVID-19 cases, 146 recoveries

The new cases are located in the Regina (53), Saskatoon (33), North West (14), Central East (14), Far North West (12), North Central (10), Far North East (5), Far North Central (3), North East (2), South East (2), and Central West (1) zones

There are 154 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Mar. 1, 2021.

The new cases are located in the Regina (53), Saskatoon (33), North West (14), Central East (14), Far North West (12), North Central (10), Far North East (5), Far North Central (3), North East (2), South East (2), and Central West (1) zones.

Five cases are pending residence information.  

Two previously reported cases with pending residence information were assigned to the North Central zone.

There are no deaths to report today. The provincial total remains at 385.

There are now 28,801 reported cases, including 1,551 active cases.

The seven-day average of daily new cases is 143 (11.6 new cases per 100,000).

There were 386 COVID-19 vaccine doses administered yesterday in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 79,289.

The 356 doses were administered in the North Central (262), North West (212), Central East (120), North West (124) and zones. Data has been updated to include an additional 677 doses administered in the South East (323) and Far North East (22) zones on Feb. 25 to 27.

One hundred and fifty-one people are in hospital. One hundred and thirty people are receiving inpatient care: in the following zones Saskatoon (49), Regina (33), North Central (14), North West (12), Central East (7), Far North West (4), South East (4), South Central (3), Far North East (2), North East (1), and Central West (1). Twenty-one people are in intensive care in the following zones: Saskatoon (11), Regina (9), and North West (1),

One hundred and forty-six more people have recovered, increasing the provincial total to 26,865 recoveries

There were 1,741 COVID-19 tests processed in Saskatchewan on Feb. 28. To date, 578,066 COVID-19 tests have been processed in Saskatchewan.
