153 new COVID-19 cases, 136 recoveries

The new cases are located in the Regina (50), Far North West (31), Central East (17), Saskatoon (18), North West (11), Far North East (8), North Central (5), South Central (5), North East (3), and Central West (1) zones

There are 153 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Feb. 26, 2021.

The new cases are located in the Regina (50), Far North West (31), Central East (17), Saskatoon (18), North West (11), Far North East (8), North Central (5), South Central (5), North East (3), and Central West (1) zones. 

All five of the new cases in the South Central are located in the South Central 2 sub-zone, which includes Moose Jaw and area.

Four cases are pending residence information.  

Ten cases with pending residence information were assigned to the Far North West (3), Far North East (2), Regina (2), North West (1), Saskatoon (1), and Central West (1) zones.

There are no new deaths to report today. The provincial total remains at 380.

There are now 28,344 reported cases, including 1,510 active cases.

The seven-day average of daily new cases is 156 (12.8 new cases per 100,000).  

There were 3,545 COVID-19 vaccine doses administered yesterday in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 69,451.

The 3,545 doses were administered in the North West (1,051), Regina (610), South West (587), Central West (560), Saskatoon (330), North Central (205), South East (191), and Central East (11) zones.  On Feb. 24, an additional 91 doses were administered in the South East zone, an additional 515 doses were administered in the South West zone, an additional 81 doses were administered in the Central West zone and an additional 10 doses were administered in the Far North West zone. A data correction saw 93 doses removed from the Regina zone and 134 doses removed from the South Central zone.

One hundred and fifty-five people are in hospital. One hundred and thirty-nine people are receiving inpatient care in the following zones: Saskatoon (54), Regina (36), North Central (13), North West (12), Central East (8), Far North West (5), South East (4), Far North East (2), South Central (2), Far North Central (1), North East (1), and Central West (1). Sixteen people are in intensive care in the following zones: Saskatoon (7), Regina (6), North West (2), and North Central (1),

One hundred and thirty-six more people have recovered, increasing the provincial total to 26,454 recoveries.

There were 3,079 COVID-19 tests processed in Saskatchewan on Feb. 25. To date, 571,393 COVID-19 tests have been processed in Saskatchewan.
