153 new COVID-19 cases, 1 death reported, 120 recoveries

The new cases are located in the Regina (64), Saskatoon (16), South Central (14),  Central East (13), North West (9), Far North East (8), North East (7), Far North Central (5), South East (5), North Central (4), Far North West (2), and South West (1) zones

One Saskatchewan resident who tested positive for COVID-19 has died. The death was reported in the 70-79 age group in the Saskatoon zone.

That brings the total number of deaths in the province to 405.

There are 153 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Mar. 13, 2021.

The new cases are located in the Regina (64), Saskatoon (16), South Central (14), Central East (13), North West (9), Far North East (8), North East (7), Far North Central (5), South East (5), North Central (4), Far North West (2), and South West (1) zones.

All 14 cases in the South Central are located in the South Central 2 sub-zone, which includes Moose Jaw and area

Five new cases are pending residence information.

Three previously reported cases with pending residence information were assigned to the North West zone.

There are now 30,522 reported cases, including 1,469 active cases.

The seven-day average of daily new cases is 133 (10.9 new cases per 100,000).

An additional 1,624 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given in Saskatchewan, surpassing the 100,000 vaccination milestone and bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 100,195.

The 1,624 doses of COVID-19 vaccine reported today were administered in the following regions: Saskatoon (474), Regina (400), North Central (298), North West (237), South East (152), and Central East (63),

One hundred thirty-three people are in hospital. One hundred and three people are receiving inpatient care in the following zones: Saskatoon (45), Regina (32), North West (9), North Central (6), Central East (4), Far North West (2), South Central (2), South East (2), and Far North East (1). Thirty people are in intensive care in the following zones: Saskatoon (14), Regina (12), Central East (2), North West (1), and North Central (1).

One hundred and twenty more people have recovered, increasing the provincial total to 28,648 recoveries.

There were 2,859 COVID-19 tests processed in Saskatchewan on Mar. 12. To date, 608,841 COVID-19 tests have been processed.
