114 new COVID-19 cases, 147 recoveries

There are 114 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Feb. 11, 2021.

The new cases are located in the Saskatoon (52), Regina (17), North West (15), Far North West (5), Far North Central (4), Central East (4), South Central (4), Far North East (3), North Central (3), North East (3), Central West (2), South West (1), and South East (1) zones.

All four of the new cases in the South Central are located in the South Central 2 sub-zone, which includes Moose Jaw and area.

Nine previously reported cases with pending residence information have been assigned to the following zones: North Central (5), Far North Central (1), Central East (1), North West (1), and Regina (1).

There are now 25,957 reported cases, including 1,935 active cases.

There are no new deaths to report today. The provincial total remains at 348.

The seven-day average of daily new cases is 182 (14.8 new cases per 100,000 population).

There were 793 COVID-19 vaccine doses administered yesterday in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 46,263.  

The 793 doses were administered in the following zones: Far North West (320), North East (287), Far North East (125), North Central (29), Far North Central (21), and South East (11). South East has reported an additional 124 doses administered on Feb. 8 and 9.  Data corrections for Jan. 18, 22, and Feb. 9 have removed 25 doses from the total administered, including: Central East (13), South East (11), and Far North Central (1).

One hundred and eighty-seven people are in hospital. One hundred and sixty-three people are receiving inpatient care in the following zones: Saskatoon (60), Regina (44), North West (19), North Central (19), Central East (11), Far North West (4), South East (3), Far North East (1), North East (1), and South Central (1). Twenty-four people are in intensive care in the following zones: Saskatoon (9), Regina (9), North West (2), Central East (2), North Central (1), and South West (1).

One hundred and forty-seven more people have recovered, increasing the provincial total to 23,674 recoveries.

There were 2,214 COVID-19 tests processed in Saskatchewan on Feb. 9. To date, 535,393 COVID-19 tests have been processed in Saskatchewan.
