Four more COVID-19 cases, 14 more recoveries

As of April 21, Saskatchewan has four new confirmed cases of COVID-19. That brings the provincial total to 320 cases.

Fourteen more people have recovered, bringing the provincial total to 252. 

Sixty-four cases are considered active.  
 
Currently, there are five people in hospital, including one in intensive care.
 
Of the province's 320 cases:

  • 135 cases are travellers;
  • 134 are community contacts (mass gatherings included);
  • 31 have no known exposures; and
  • 20 are under investigation by local public health.

Saskatoon continues to have the highest number of cases with 150. Meanwhile, there are 71 cases in the Regina area, 60 in the north, 15 in the south, 11 in the central region, and 13 in the far north.

Four deaths have been reported in the province.
