SoAR Fall High School Transition Support Program


The Learning Disabilities Association of York-Simcoe's (LDAYS) "SoAR Mindful Transitions" group program is starting in October – Be sure to secure your child's spot before it's too late!

The program is designed for students in grades 7 and 8 with a diagnosis of a learning disability or ADHD.

In this program, participants will:
- Understand LDs/ADHD and learning preferences
- Develop self-advocacy strategies for success
- Build executive function skills
- Prepare for school assessments
- Successfully transition into secondary school, easing anxiety or stress.

Fall Program Dates 

Richmond Hill – LDAYS Office (9030 Leslie St., Unit 216)
Wednesdays from November 12th to December 3rd
Time 5:00 to 6:00 pm 

Simcoe –  Essa Public Library, Angus
Tuesdays from October 7th to October 28th
Time: 5:00 to 6:00 pm 

Program Details: 
- Participants must have a primary diagnosis of a Learning Disability and/or ADHD. 
- Delivered in groups or 1-to-1, in-office, or online.
- Subsidies available. Contact the Program Coordinator to see if you're eligible.
