Organizers of Ag in Motion are receiving feedback from farmers and exhibitors about what went well and what can be improved for next year.

Show Director Rob O'Connor said they will look at the survey results this fall and use it as a guide to shape next year's show. For now, O'Connor said the Ride & Drives, the debut of the Junior Cattle Show, and the antique tractor pulls appeared to be a hit with event-goers last week.

"I think some early things that we've noticed is how important it was to have the drone demonstrations as well as the fun little aspects of the show. The Junior Cattle Show as well as the tractor pulls had great numbers of people watching them and on the demonstration side, we'll definitely look at that program because the ride and drive section of the show continues to be used by farmers. From my observations, that spray ride and drive never quit all three days, so that's something we'll want to probably take a look at again to continue offering farmers what they want.”

O'Connor thought the Junior Cattle Show looked good in its debut this year and bringing it back depends on whether participants want it to return.

"A lot of people were happy with it. We had nice crowds and there's such a nice group of people to work with too."

Regarding attendance, O'Connor said approximately 31,000 people came through the gates of the Discovery Farm Site near Langham and more than 600 exhibitors were at the show, meeting their expectations. While he didn't have the exact number of international guests, O'Connor believed it was above expectations and credited a few organizations with helping them out.

"We've had some great support from our partners with Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership, Global Affairs Canada and Saskatchewan Trade and Export Development. Combined, those three groups brought in several hundred attendees from all around the world this year." he said.

He was also impressed with Harvard Media's Great Bin Giveaway that happened on the last day of the show.

“I thought that was fantastic. I really enjoyed that bin giveaway. I love how Harvard (Media) wrapped it down. I thought that was a really unique way to determine the final winner and I look forward to seeing what that company decides to do.”

The next Ag in Motion will be July 21-23, 2026.
